A wonderful dive site with lot of variation. Not very far North-West from the Negombo harbor. The Lobster reef has three sections the south, middle and the north and is indeed a long reef that stretches North-West.

The general appearance of boulders and rubble are common to all the Negombo 2nd Reef dive sites. A diver can easily spend over an hour here very occupied with the massive amounts of marine life - specially the small things such as Nudibranchs, Flounders & Shrimps.

Also present are the common reef fish such as Lionfish, Bluelined Groupers, Flower Groupers, Moray Eels and if one is lucky sightings of Sting Rays and Eagle Rays.
